This book lives up its title. It is an A–Z guide to 375 of the best plants for propagation divided into the following categories: flowers and foliage; trees, shrubs and climbers, water loving and bog plants; and, vegetables and herbs. Rosenfeld includes photographs for each plant, describes their size and shape, where they should be grown, and how and when to propagate them to get the best results. He covers all the standard propagating techniques, and includes special sidebars in the text with planting information and different garden styles. The author certainly covers the entire field of plant propagation in one package, albeit from a British perspective. Nevertheless, if you are interested in this topic, you will find this book very helpful.
