This boxed kit contains Coleman's book on creating origami bonsai using his patented glow-fold technique, along with enough specially designed folding paper to make more than 400 pieces, as well as a DVD showing the actual step-by-step construction of the leaves and flowers. He also explains how to find a branch on which to attach the leaves and flowers for the completed sculpture. The beautiful paper is designed by Coleman with outlines to aid in construction. I do not have a green thumb and have now discovered, after trying to emulate Coleman's folding, that I am all thumbs. Of course, I did not use his specially designed paper, but some of the intricate flowers are, even by his admission, a little tricky. As an incentive, a gorgeous, artfully folded red flower is inserted in the box containing the kit. For someone who is interested in origami and has the patience, this is a challenging starting point into a new art form.
