10 - 11 a.m.
The Chicago Harp Quartet, founded in 2012, performs original compositions and arrangements made specifically for the quartet ranging from baroque to contemporary. Members of this dynamic quartet have performed on five continents. By combining the unique backgrounds of each member (extensively trained orchestral and chamber musicians), the quartet brings an unprecedented level of ensemble skill to harp chamber music. The quartet will perform works from their debut CD Soirees d'ete.
Following the concert, please stay for an introduction to horticultural therapy with the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Barb Kreski and for a tour of the Sensory Garden.
