The Chicago Botanic Garden's Horticultural Therapy Services acts as a national clearinghouse for information about the therapeutic uses of horticulture. This includes information about enabling gardening, adaptive tools, and horticultural therapy books. Where noted, select resources are available for order below.

Health Through Horticulture Indoor Gardening Activity Plans
The manual provides complete information for conducting 17 indoor gardening activities for therapeutic outcomes. Each session plan was developed and tested by Chicago Botanic Garden Horticultural Therapy Services staff.

Low-Vision Gardening

Developed in collaboration with the Hadley's Low Vision Gardening Video Series, these worksheets detail a program of therapeutic horticultural activities. From transplanting to flower arrangement, these videos encourage active participation in the benefits of working with plants.
