Night of 1,000 Jack-o'-Lanterns

More than 1,000 hand-carved pumpkins—some as large as 150 pounds—will light up the night at our Halloween event. Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns takes advantage of the Garden's glorious fall setting, and features only real pumpkins. It's an unforgettable experience.

Policies:

Group visit package prices do not include applicable sales tax
15-guest minimum will apply
50 percent nonrefundable deposit required for booking
$200 labor fee applied to groups over 50 guests (applicable to packages with meal)
Additional labor fee applies per 50 guests
Final guest count and payment due ten business days prior to visit
Cancellations must be made at least ten business days prior to visit

Lightscape

November 2022 – January 2023

Host your next holiday outing at the Chicago Botanic Garden and experience our new holiday winter exhibition: Lightscape. This evening holiday light show transforms the Garden into a festive, magical world of light, art, and sound! Walk along a mile-long path filled with detailed, curated art experiences at every turn: a towering tunnel of lights, light beams dancing through singing trees, even the natural beauty of firelight. This will be a whole new way to celebrate the holiday season and the natural beauty of the Garden. Halfway through Lightscape, you will arrive at your private event space. Our seasonal and festive catering packages will surely amaze, and when the reception ends, everyone will continue along the light show path toward the grand finale.

All packages include complimentary motor coach/ bus admission, priority drop-off, Lightscape admission, and catered meal in the Greenhouse Galleries.

The Orchid Show

February – March, 2023

This remarkable floral show is designed to showcase more than 12,000 rare, unusual, and exotic plants from around the world in a seven-room display area. The Orchid Show, the largest show of its kind in the Chicago metropolitan area, provides an oasis of beauty and vibrant color during the height of winter. It will be the perfect escape for your group outing.

All tour packages include motor coach/bus admission, priority drop-off, Orchid Show exhibit admission, and ten percent discount coupons to the Garden Shop.
