Celebrate the beauty of winter.

Learn more about woodland restoration efforts and winter flora and fauna on a 45-minute guided walk (about 1/3 mile). Before or after the walk, warm up by the fire at the McDonald Woods Shelter. Dress for the weather. If the weather forecast predicts air temperatures or a wind chill of 20 degrees or less, wind speed exceeding 20 miles per hour, or heavy rain, the program will be cancelled. If there is deep snow, we’ll walk in areas near the Woods.
