Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow', common bugleweed, is a creeping rhizomatous evergreen spreading rapidly by stolons. It has spoon-shaped, tri-colored leaves suffused with deep wine-red. Dark blue flowers are borne in whorls up to 6 inches tall in late spring. Burgundy Glow is a colorful ground cover that will brighten up shady areas.
