Deep pink fluffy flowers grace the finely dissected leaves in mid-summer on this small non-hardy tree originally from southwestern Asia. A favorite in American gardens in warmer climates, it tolerates high temperatures, humidity and/or drought. Mature trees take on an architectural aspect as the mature leaves form horizontal tableaus.
