Vancouver Jade Common Bearberry

Honey scented pink bell shaped flowers in spring lead to bright red berries in fall beloved by birds on this hardy evergreen groundcover that thrives in sandy acidic soils. Flowers are attractive to a wide range of pollinating insects. The lustrous dark green foliage changes to a deep burgundy with the onset of cooler temperatures in the fall. Will tolerate some shade.
