False Goatsbeard

'Verslilac' also known as YOUNIQUE LILAC™ has fragrant lavender pink plumes on top of mounded foliage. The thick, fluffy panicles are comprised of tiny, closely packed flowers which bloom in late spring to summer. The stems stand 20 inches high. 'Verslilac' does well in evenly moist soil in partial shade to shade where it adds a welcome touch of color to a shady garden. It is generally pest free and tough, and is resistant to rabbits and deer. It is attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. After the blooms have died, the stalks with the dried seed heads are often left in place for winter interest.
