Small white flowers are followed by bright red beaked fruits with a distinctive smokey sweet flavor. Plant in full sun in well drained soils as soon as night time temperatures are 60 degrees F or warmer for best results. A native Brazilian land race, some of the fruits will mature yellow as well as red.
