Lemon yellow feathery fans darken to a rich green on the interior branches of this hardy intermediate sized evergreen. Will thrive in indirect sun or partial shade; in full sun the lemon-yellow tips may sunburn. Requires well drained consistently moist soils. Deer will eat this species only after all other tastier vegetation has been consumed.
