'Sunny Swirl' has fine, threadlike bright chartreuse foliage irregularly produced in dense, cockscomb-like tufts at the tips of twisting upward arching branches. It grows to 8 feet high by 3 feet wide after 10 years. It is best grown in filtered shade to avoid sunburn in hot summer climates, with consistently moist, well-drained soil.
