Warczewitzii's Clowesia Orchid
Sprays of pendulous greenish white flowers accented with dark green veins appear from the spiraling pseudobulbs during the depths of Chicago's winters. Plicated (folded), strongly upright leaves are deciduous, leaving behind sharp tipped remnants of the leaf petiole. Bright indirect light with warmth and high humidity in exceptionally well drained yet moist potting media are recommended.
