Limelight Dracaena

Native to tropical Africa, Dracaena is among the most commonly grown potted plants with an enormous variety of foliage. ‘Limelight’ has stunning yellowish green foliage; it grows well in low light and temperatures of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. The name Dracaena is derived from the Greek word “drakaina,” which is a female dragon. When the stem is cut, a resinous red gum is produced that is said to resemble dragon’s blood. It is used as a varnish and in photo engraving.
