Flowers with fragrance redolent of ripe apricots in yellow to apricot color appear on this non-hardy small tree in the Passionflower family. Native to Central America, populations vary in the flower color. Large blooms up to eight and a half inches in diameter.

A dry period is needed to promote flowering.
