This mat-forming evergreen ground cover grows to a height of about 4 inches with full sun to partial shade or full shade and moderate moisture conditions. In late spring and summer it produces insignificant white and green blooms that give way to orange fruits in the fall. It is a ground cover or can be used in a hedge. It should be noted that this plant is considered invasive on the East Coast.
