Mai Tai Avens
Geum ‘Mai Tai’ stands 16 – 18 inches tall and blooms in late April to early June with ruffled, semi-double apricot to peach flowers that fade as they mature. The flowers are 1 ½ inches across and face outward, held on tall wiry burgundy stems. This is a member of the Cocktails series bred by Brent Horvath of Intrinsic Perennial Gardens. It is deer resistant and hardy in zones 4-8. Plant it in full sun or part shade.
