Chihuahuan Fishhook Cactus

Flowers are a distinctive coppery rose color while the body of the cactus can range from green to blue green with a gray glaucous overlay. Grow in full sun in well drained soils and reduce watering during the winter time. Needs a winter cool period in order to flower well with temperatures below 50 degrees F.

Native to the Chihuhuan Desert stretching from southwest Texas through southern New Mexico and northern Mexico.
