Thornless Honeylocust

SUNBURST® Thornless Honeylocust is an attractive shade tree that is often planted as a shade tree in grassy areas as the fine foliage allows enough sunlight to pass through for grass to grow underneath. This tree has delicate foliage that appears yellowish-green and matures to a darker green, turning yellow early in the fall. It can grow to over fifty feet tall, although thirty to thirty feet is more common, with a width of thirty feet and an attractive vase like habit.
