This rare epiphytic ginger lily from southeast Asia produces gracefully arching 2-foot stems topped by bright red and yellow petaled flowers produced from a cone-like inflorescence. It needs bright light but not full sun, exceptionally well-drained soils and high humidity. Fertilize this plant with low levels of soluble fertilizer after it flowers.
