Little Grapette Daylily

Little Grapette daylily has very small grape-colored flowers early in the season. The flowers are only 2 inches in diameter, and the low foliage is only 12 inches tall. In milder climates the foliage is green all year round. Although each flower lasts only one day, there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade. Little Grapette has been awarded the Donn Fischer Memorial Award, Junior Citation, Honorable Mention, and Award of Merit.
