Steeple Jackie Daylily
Steeple Jackie daylily has bright yellow flowers with yellow throats late in the season. The blooms are small, measuring only 3.5 inches. They sit on top of unusually tall stems, 5 feet high. They are delightfully fragrant. Each flower lasts only one day, but there are multiple buds on each stalk and several stalks on each plant. The buds open in series, so a single plant will continue to bloom for 2 weeks or more. It is easy to grow and does well in full sun to part shade.
