Dwarf Purple Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe pumila, or flower dust plant, features attractive silvery-gray foliage topped by small bouquets of pink flowers in the winter. Like many other native Southern Hemisphere plants, it continues to bloom in the summer of the Southern Hemisphere (our winters) even though it was introduced to northern gardeners as early as 1883 from central Madagascar.
