This is a tall perennial that can reach heights of 8 feet’ with a 4-foot spread. It blooms in mid to late summer with panicles of cream-colored flowers that provide a textural contrast to its large, scalloped leaves. It prefers moist, sandy, well-drained loams in full sun to part shade. It can spread aggressively but can be divided to keep it in check.
