This primrose's pale yellow, nodding flowers all tend to hang toward one side of the flower stalk, a characteristic that distinguishes this species from close relatives. It tolerates damp soil and is resistant to rabbits and deer nibbling. Plant this flower in partial-to-full-sun locations. This is one of the few primroses that thrives in soils with an alkaline pH.
