Aglo Rhododendron
The Aglo rhododendron is an open multi-stemmed, rounded evergreen shrub. It blooms with lightly scented shell pink trumpet-shaped flowers with a red blotch in early spring. The narrow leaves turn purple in the fall, giving the plant some additional interest. Like all rhododendrons, it prefers well-drained, fertile, acidic soil in partial shade.
