Rhododendron 'Milestone' features red-pink flowers in large trusses in mid-May. It was developed by the Weston Nursery of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, to meet the need for rhododendrons hardy in the harsh New England climate. Slow growing, over ten years it will reach 3 feet in height and typically produces a rounded mound.
