Scintillation Rhododendron
This evergreen shrub requires consistent and moist, but not water-logged, acidic soils in partial shade, protected from strong winter winds to thrive. When provided with these conditions, it is covered with purplish-pink flowers that shade to a lighter pink in the center from late May into early June. Each ball-shaped truss (inflorescence) at the end of the branches has 11 to15 flowers.
