Oxblood Lily

The oxblood lily plant is grown from bulbs, thrives in full or partial sun and grows 11-15 inches tall. The plant is dormant in late summer and produces leaves when fall rains begin. In the following July through August it produces showy trumpet-shaped red flowers resembling an amaryllis. Plant these bulbs in late September or October.
