English Shrub Rose

STRAWBERRY HILL™ has won two awards for its overall excellence as a rose, and two more for its delicious myrrh and honey fragrance. Clusters of rose pink flowers appear in flushes from June until frost. You can train this vigorous, disease-resistant rose as climber, se it as a hedge, or prune to fit in the border. It's named not for the Beatles song, but for a notable house and garden in Twickenham.
Rose breeder David Austin is famous for bringing together the shapes and scents of
old-fashioned roses with the repeat bloom, hardiness, and disease
resistance of modern roses. Like all roses, the more sun you give it,
the more flowers you'll get in return. Remember that even the most
disease resistant roses need help fighting fungal diseases if you can't
give them full sun and good air circulation. Also, all roses, particularly
repeat bloomers, are heavy feeders, so for best performance fertilize in
spring and again in mid-summer.
