Intensely fragrant double pink flowers in mid-June continue sporadically throughout summer. A relatively short rose, the common name derives from the green fine hair like growth on the sepals surrounding the unopened flower buds. Scientist recognize these growths are associated with stronger fragrances but have not discovered why. Plant in full sun in moderately rich moisture retentive soils and treat as needed for black spot and powdery mildew.>/p>
