Albospica Canada Hemlock
This cultivar is smaller than the species and can reach a height of 25’ with a spread of 15’. It has horizontal, almost pendulous branches which give it a graceful, fine-textured appearance. Its needles are a dark green with two white bands, giving the tree a two-toned look. It prefers cool, moist, well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade and will even tolerate full shade. Plant in a site protected from the wind. It can be pruned heavily in the spring for hedging.
