New! What smells like earth, enriches the soil, and is free to make? Compost! Compost is simply a mixture of soil and pieces of plant material that have decomposed to become natural fertilizer. Dark brown and crumbly, compost is an attractive and beneficial addition to any garden. A healthy compost pile is easy to maintain, has no offensive odor, and does not attract animals. Learn how you can recycle your lawn, garden, and kitchen waste to make your own compost.
