Adult Ed Horticulture Ornamental Plant Certificate Hydrangeas for the Home Garden

The Chicago Botanic Garden’s online class about hydrangea plants is a virtual experience you can take anywhere! 

New! Delve into the expansive world of hydrangeas. Explore the wide breadth of this garden favorite and its various cultivars and species, including H. macrophylla, H. serrata, H. arborescens, H. quercifolia, H. paniculata, and hydrangea vines. Discover how to prune for maximum health, growth, and flowers. Learn simple tips to understand how pH affects the color of some flowers. Andrew Bunting is the vice president of horticulture at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and has worked at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Chanticleer Garden, and the Scott Arboretum. 

This class will be taught online via Zoom. All registrations must be submitted online two days before your class starts. Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance.
