Illinois state parks offer a variety of opportunities for photographers to capture unique habitats. You will spend your first week in the woods and trails of the Chicago Botanic Garden. The second week will be at Illinois Beach State Park, where you will photograph the black oak forests, cacti, and cattails. Explore Moraine Hills State Park in the third week and practice capturing images of some of the more than 200 bird species around Lake Defiance. Week four will be back at the Garden to review and critique photographs. Transportation is on your own. Class is limited to DSLR or mirrorless cameras. No phone cameras, please.
