Larvae feed on a small number of poisonous plants from the Cycadaceae family. Adults feed on nectar from a variety of flowers including Lantana and Periwinkle.
Interesting Fact:
The wingspan of the tiny Atala Hairstreak is only 1.5 inches. It is also considered endangered by the state of Florida.
