Carillon Concert
Carson Landry is a freelance carillonneur from Orlando, Florida. He holds a BA in Music Studies from Principia College in Elsah, Illinois, where he studied with Carlo van Ulft. Last year, he received a diploma from the Royal Carillon School “Jef Denyn” in Mechelen, Belgium, where he studied on a Fulbright grant.
While in Europe, he gave concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Lithuania. He served as the carillon fellow at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida this past winter. This fall, he will enter the master’s program in carillon performance at the University of Michigan, studying with Dr. Tiffany Ng.
In addition to his carillon studies, Carson has enjoyed a multifaceted music education which has included piano, percussion, choir, church music, and musical theater experience. You can find him on YouTube at the channel Carillons with Carson.
