Michael Gancz

Michael Gancz (they/them) is a carillonist, composer, conductor, and music researcher based in New Haven, CT. They are an alum of the Yale University Guild of Carillonneurs, a graduate of the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen, BE, and a carillonneur member of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America. Gancz currently works as a sound spatialization researcher at the Yale Center for Immersive Technologies in Pediatrics, investigating the intersection of music, technology, and medicine. They are very excited for their first visit to the Chicago Botanic Garden!
