Hornbeam Maple
The Hornbeam Maple is native to Japan and can reach a height of 30 feet with a similar spread. Its bright green leaves don't have the familiar maple lobes and have parallel veins that extend from the midrib to double saw-toothed margins. This tree has a rather bushy shape and is often multi-trunked. It prefers full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Soil should be well-drained.
