Maple
'Ginzam' (or GINGERBREAD maple) is a cross between the paperbark maple (Acer griseum and the Nikko Maple (Acer nikoense). It is an upright grower that can reach a height of 25 feet with a spread of 15 feet. It has the beautiful exfoliating bark of a paperbark Maple and has vivid orange and red fall foliage. The leaves are trifoliate (leaves of three) and grow in pairs. It is hardy to Zone 4, prefers full sun and is drought tolerant once established.
