Variegated Lipstick Vine

Broad creamy margins decorate the leaf edges of this lipstick vine with reddish-orange flowers in clusters at the tips of the stems. This native of southeast Asia is not hardy outdoors in the Chicago region and requires a warm, humid growing environment. It is Ideal in a hanging basket or cascading over a window sill or ledge. Like many other ephiphytes it grows best in consistently moist but well-drained soils with minimum fertilization.
