Dwarf Goatsbeard

Goatsbeard is a wonderful shade plant with deep green compound leaves, which give it a soft, ferny effect and very delicate texture. Feathery, creamy white flower plumes appear in early summer, and the seedheads remain on the plant throughout summer and into winter for interest. This miniature goatsbeard forms rounded clumps, with flower spikes rising above the foliage. Use this plant as an accent, at the edge of a woodland, in a shaded rock garden, or at the front of a border. It shines in the shade.
