Lotusland Begonia

Lotusland begonia is a large thick-stemmed begonia with large dark green leaves up to ten inches in width. it forms large clumps up to three feet tall and four feet wide and spreads by fleshy rhizomes. Tall flower spikes bearing numerous small pink flowers rise over the thick foliage. Like most begonias, Lotusland prefers lightly shaded situations with only morning sun, and with moderately moist but well-drained soil. These plants are delicate and require overwintering in a draft-free location.
