Butterfly Bush
BUZZ Midnight Butterfly Bush
This cultivar produces large tapering spikes of dense velvety-purple flowers from the summer into fall. It’s a butterfly magnet with its honey-scented blooms. It likes full sun and good soil with regular watering to ensure it doesn’t wilt. Removing the spent spikes will keep new flowers coming. It grows to a height of over three feet, but if you cut it back to one foot when the blooming slows, it will grow quickly into a bigger bush with many more flowers in the spring.
