Tempelhof Hinoki Cypress

Tempelhof Hinoki cypress is a native of Japan, where they are used in the timber industry. Hinoki cypress is considered sacred by the Shintos. ‘Tempelhof’ is a broad, cone-shaped conifer with deep-green foliage growing in broad overlapping whorls on orange stems. Excellent as an informal hedge, it grows to 12 feet high and 10 feet wide and requires little pruning. Foliage turns bronze in winter.
