Chinese Fringetree

The Chinese fringe tree leafs out in late spring. It bears delicate fringe-like white flowers in panicles, followed by blue berries that the birds eat rapidly. It can be grown as a shrub or as a graceful tree if its tips are allowed to grow out. It is a very graceful specimen.
