Autumn Fern

Brilliance Autumn Fern is derived from an evergreen fern native to the woods and forests of Eastern Asia. Its name refers to the brilliant new growth which is bright rosy-apricot in color maturing to shiny, bright green in mid-summer. In fall the fronds turn reddish and so provide visual interest for at least three seasons and in frost-free areas the fern is evergreen.

Brilliance Autumn Fern reaches about two feet in height and width and is suitable for massed planting in shady areas, as an understory or as a potted specimen plant. It requires partial shade, humus-rich soils, and consistent soil moisture in order to thrive.
