Dwarf Fothergilla

It grows to a height of 2' to 3' tall, has a rounded habit and forms a dense mound at maturity. It is used in the home landscape. Small white flowers, which are actually stamens, are borne at the tip of each branch in a 1" to 2" spike resembling a small bottle brush. In addition to the showy flowers, it has good fall color ranging from yellow to orange to scarlet. Dwarf forthergilla is a relatively unknown and underutilized small shrub.
