Mount Airy Fothergilla is a small shrub 3-5' height and width, which produces fragrant white flowers in late April and May. The flowers look like tiny bottlebrushes. The fall foliage can take on various hues: orange, yellow, green, and purplish. Mt. Airy needs moist, acid soil and partial shade.
